Objectives

The Colorado HOBY Leadership Seminars goal, is to provide sophomores from Colorado high schools with the opportunity to improve their leadership skills through education, understanding and individual responsibility.

Specifically we strive :

  • To seek out, recognize and develop leadership potential in high school sophomores in the United States and abroad;

  • To encourage and assist participants in their quest for self-identification and self-development;

  • To connect these young leaders with established leaders in business, industry, government, science and education through educational panels, and discussions that utilize a question-and-answer format;

  • To motivate these young leaders to embrace their potential role in society and to endorse the importance of volunteerism;

  • To facilitate discussions to stimulate these young people to demonstrate their leadership abilities through community service and involvement.
