Schools

During the seminar students are encouraged to consider other points of view, to listen to new ideas and to be open to the possibility of change. The components of the Leadership Seminar are designed to motivate students to see leadership as a goal. At the conclusion of the Seminar, the students are challenged to identify personal service goals, commit to achieving one or more within the next six months, and report back to HOBY, and their sponsors on their achievements. They come away with a new appreciation for individuality and the importance of taking action now to make a change, and not waiting for a better time, or when they are older.
